Conestoga Doors

Post by Douglas Walters »

Does any one know if conestoga offers an inside edge profile only on the rails and square on the stiles?
My client so a picture of this and wants me to duplicate this for all the kitchen doors. Door stile TW10.
Thanks,
Doug

I don't know about Connie, but their friends and competitors over there in PA Dutch country do some like this, and knowing how Connie steps up to the plate, my guess is that they will do the same.

Completly off topic but it's funny being from Australia and seeing Mark Taylor and Doug Walters having this conversation. They are both retired Australian cricketers, nice to see they have taken up woodworking in their retirement.

Doug, try calling Walzcraft Industries, LaCrosse, WI, 800-237-1326.

Tell them the look you are after is something like the #S117 Hyde door, and take it from there. Their catalog will make your head spin, with the choices in patterns for stiles and rails, center panel raise, moldings, etc. Species available from Australian wormy chestnut to sapele and rustic walnut.

Hey Doug...

Trust me, I know the power of this forum...I was simply responding to your question regarding conestoga. I have purchased from them for years and have never seen that style in any of their offerings.

Looks like you have several other viable options...that cherry door certainly was attractive!

Hey Glen... cricket ? Aren't those small green insects.... 8)
