You are trying to open a job instead of an assembly.

Thanks again gentlemen for the help. I moved it into a folder I named Standard. I didn't find one in /assemblies. I got it to pop up but then I had a problem in that it opend a material list that I needed to do something with but I couldn't figure out what. Trying to cancel the mat. list just canceled the drawing. So the question is what do I do with the mat. list? Joe

Extract the assembly to one of your folders in "Assemblies" then you can load it into the cabinet/assembly editor as you would any other assembly.

You will have to add the materials used in the assembly when you open it or substitute different materials for them.
Joe

When you open a cabinet or assembly that uses materials that you do not have defined, you have to add or substitute a suitable material for them.

OK, it sounds like I just need to follow standard procedure and I will try that. Thanks again. Joe

To anyone,

Why is it that I am not seeing this maple mantel? I can't even see a link. I have noticed on some posts this happens. Does it have something to do with computers? Am I missing something here?

Forget last post. I found it at the end of page 2. Is there a reason why I was unable to see it on George's first post?

John,

Every forum member is only allotted X amount of server space for attachments. To be able to upload attachments on new posts we must go back to old posts and delete the attachment to open up space. This leaves many of the old posts without their original picture uploads.
George just uploaded the pictures again for you to see is why they re-appeared.
