How do you find where the contour is not closed? I have extended every line there is and then trimed them and it still says the contour is not closed

Sometimes the lines will overlap each other and you will not see the problem. Another problem is splines, they cause problems also.

Sometimes you will have to shut down e-cab and restart. I know you have to do the drawing again but its the only way.

Gary,
Make sure you have Object Snap turned on and Grid Snap turned off when you are extending and trimming your lines.
There are also times when you may have two lines, one right on top of the other and this is the problem.
Save the geometry you are working on and post it. Maybe I can help.
