Ben
There is no set time frame on when this will be ready. We will let everyone know when it is.

The lastest patch of ecabinets does include a fix that will allow a vista 64bit user to register/verify their ecabinets without any registry modifications needed, however you still need to run the patch and the program as administrator (allows writing to the program files folder).

OK, i'ved went through Jason and Dean's TUT on the Vista installation, got that with out a problem, installed the patch for the registration.....activated it with the key, allllll good! Set up my firewall and anti virus to accept every thing from eCab soft to run, obviously like Jason said, i ran all of this as an admin but, LOLOL
it doesn't start!!!!
For sure Vista 64bit is a bit "tricky" to work with as per installing some soft, but why does the OS close the application after every thing was well installed????
I know that the WOW64 takes in charge the installation DIR depending of the 32 or 64bit and, as per what i seen on my side it was perfectly installed in the "program files (x86)" !

Now, if i launch the soft, i get the "annoying" LOL eCabinet Systems Application has stopped working window popping up :fire:
This is the problem detail from it:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: ECABINETS.exe
Application Version: 5.2.19.0
Application Timestamp: 492abd05

I'm wondering what is the fault module "StackHash_fd00" and could it be because of the overclocking ???

Crashing at that point seems to be occurring right when the OpenGL graphics driver is initialized. Can I assume you've loaded the latest Radeon HD 4870 driver?
