George,
Very nice work in eCabs for this closet, especially the curved shelving. Nice. The customer can see exactly what he gets.

However, I was able to see it by accident. This forum section is for 3D images of items we might like to place in our room layouts such as plasma TV's etc. The place for this great closet is in "Customer images" sections where everyone looking for job examples can see it. I was just cruising for any 3D images I would find useful and came across your closet work.

Hey George,
Nice closet. On your shoe cubby how did you do that one? are they just fixed shelves with partitions? I am trying to get Ecabinets to have the ability to do slide joints. You know the kind that you find in the box that has a dozen glasses in it with cardboard strips separating them. This would be ideal for these assemblies, wine racks and other storage racks.
Thanks for sharing,

Hey George,
Thanks or taking the time to draw this up but your own words ("It took me about an 1 Hr") are what I am trying to get this operation added as a parametric feature. Would it be better if it was only a few clicks? :D If you change any part of the cubby, you have to redo a dxf, then go into the PE and so on. If you change your material, same thing. There are so many other uses for this type of joint. I hope it makes it into V6 or V6.1

Sorry your having a bad day. I can't think of too many things that involve lawyers that are good days other than some real estate deals or the day you get a check from them and it wasn't from an injury or death in the family.

Do you mean "NO" to being able to accomplish in a few clicks what took you 1 hour?

Re: Closet hanging examples

Post by Neville Bastian »

Hi Everyone
I have done a search for clothes on a coat hanger but no hits. I was wondering if anyone had done something in this area? I was hoping for shirts and long coat items so the space for half, 3/4 and full hanging can be highlighted.
Thanks

Here is a jacket and t-shirt that someone else created, I just added the hanger.

Also here is a dress that is pretty rough.
