Darren,
Nice job and project.
Having built control rooms before, I find the biggest item that goes untended is heat shedding. It seems the engineers never really total up the whole heat load and calculate cooling demands. There will be loads and loads of heat to move out of the cabinet and it will be very cranky later if not provided for in the original design. This equipment is never turned off once installed, and the build up of heat over the first few weeks will be large and impressive. The room cooling system can't take it away unless you get it out of the cabinet. Consider whisper fans everywhere, even extra fans that only come on with a thermostat if some of the fans go out later. Those should also have connection to a warning pilot light on the panel.

thanks peter, that's why the tops are being done in autocad. there are going to be alot of holes everwhere. what your looking at is where all the computer screens and monitors will be. jut to the left of the picture or front of the room will be the mainframes and ingest section in a cool room.
