New Project

Post by Gary Puckett »

Does anyone have some new projects that they would like to share with the members?
Here is a small job I just got, there will be a gate with iron balusters that will pull out from each wall to act as a dog gate. When family and friend come over the gates will disappear into the walls. I would have liked to show the gates but had no images of the balusters.

That is cool Gary...pocket door-style gates. Something like that could also be used for keeping infants/toddlers out of dangerous areas of a house like kitchens or bathrooms.

We have dogs that stay in the house and we use a good old tension mount portable (and very ugly) gate to keep them confined to the family room.

Thanks George,

Yes those are good sites and I know what balusters I'm going to use 2 double twist, 2 single birds nest, and 1 scroll for each gate. I can't find any 3d DXF files on these items.

Thanks George,

I couldn't have done it without your help. Now what do you meen " lets see the inside of the wall" ? Do you want a view looking from the dinning room out to the foyer?

Maybe someday we will be able to add ceilings. Maybe version 14 :joker:
