Any ever done this

Post by Gary Puckett »

I have been trying to put a wall tile image on a 45 degree with no luck. Has anyone ever done this and please explain the procedure.

Thanks

I would probably cheat. Take the image and put it into my photo editor and them rotate it 45*. Resave it as a different name, 'original_file_name 45'. The you just need to choose that tile.

If you are trying to make the whole wall this way it may be more difficult.

Well this is what I get if take the image and rotate it 45 degrees I can't get rid of the 4 white corners and if you use it as a wall image you get the tile and the white boarders that then look like tile.

Gary,

There are a couple of images in the STONE directory in eCabinets that are set on a diagonal.

Gary,

I did this one by creating a display cube and using a square tile pattern then rotated the cube 45 degrees. I then made a jpg of the cube and cropped that in Irfanview back to a ninety degree image. I then used that image on a new cube. You could do this with any tile pattern.

Thanks Kerry,

But thats a lot of work. I just need to figure out how to get the four white corners to become the tile image and it will work.

George,

Yes I have 3 photo programs but all they can do is crop a square or a rectangle.

I don't know if eCabs can handle it, but if you save it as a GIF with the transparency set for white then the object will show up without the with borders.
