When I get time I am going to make it in E-Cabinet in wood
Is there any way I can make the finial in E-Cabinets if I made tools. I want to learn how to make tool up :wall: :wall:

You certainly can George! Just take those cross section outlines and reverse them. Make a Display Cube and turn it into a cylinder then profile the edge with your tool just like we discussed in the How to Cut a Sphere thread.

Here is a very rough and quick shot at it. Notice that I rotated the finished item so imagine the shape being upside-down from what is shown. This is because the operation was from the bottom of the Display Cube instead of the top.

The blue area is the material being cut away.

I just got in I am trimming a house this week.We put a 2ND floor on it.I have to tonight make up some more treads now for another builder.I think he would like to get them by Fri.

I hope to get as GOOD with e-Cabinets as you are.
I Love making clocks and hope to own a CNC machine some day and make large numbers of clocks like Seth Thomas and others.

The 3-Fininals and the half dowels were made in ViaCad-6
