Help with Adjustable Shelves in back panel

Post by Neal Meyers Jr »

Attached is the cabinet I am currently working on for my sister-in-law. I have taken a "Seed Cabinet" and modified it by removing one of the sides and then adding shelves and editing it in the parts editor for the front radius. The problem is that the holes for the adjustable shelves are only on one side. I need them on the back panel. I am going to add Dadoes for the shelves and back.

Also, is there a way to add moldings around the top that follow the top? Currently it follows the original square shelf top.

Thank all of ya'll in advance.

You have to manually place holes in the back panel using the Part Editor.

No, I was hoping that there was an automatic way to do this, In order to ensure that they are aligned correctly.
I will be building two of these units without the aid of a CNC machine so the holes will be drilled on a press.
Thank you for your suggestion and I will try the part editor tonight.

Hey, you're just down the street from me! I am about three miles off exit 336 on I-75.

Yes I am off of exit 293.

As a Field Engineer for Toshiba you are in the northern end of my territory.

I checked out you web site are you a wood worker or a software developer or beta tester?
I have a small shop now but am trying to get a larger one built soon. I hope to get some type of CNC machine and use e-cab to control it. My only challenge is going to be the 3 phase power for the Thermwood machines.

Well any way I need to figure out the private posts for this site. Maybe we can get together some time and talk shop.

I spent 30+ years in the computer industry before giving in to woodworking full time. I missed most of the past year with back problems and now things are really at a standstill around here.
