"M" Code Definitions

Post by James Lovell »

Thermwood 80ES Serial # 80ES254VOPA200040193SD91

This is an old router. I am new to the machine, and have been looking at programs from the previous owner.
The controller is an old 9100, so I noticed that even the G codes are a little different.
I haven't been able to find any definitions on the controoler itself, so I would appreciate some help.

Please define the following "M" Codes I keep seeing in these existing programs;

M20
M80L1
M0
M82L2
M81L1
M83
M2
M61L47

I do know some of these are what is called "outputs" for macros or sub-programs.
There's just no way of lookin these up to see what they are.
Any help would be awesome, thanks guys for all the help so far!!!

Hi James,

Yesterday I emailed you an electronic version of the control manual for a 91/9100 series control. All of the codes you've listed are in that manual I provided. Thermwood does offer software support services that would allow a software support technician to travel to your facility for machine training which would be very beneficial if you've not had prior Thermwood programming experience.
