Angled End Cabinet & Rendering Background Question

Post by Brandan Hanz »

I have 2 questions I need some help with :

1. Can someone start me out on how to design either a base or a wall cabinet that is on the end of a cabinet run and the face frame angles back to the wall? Basically a triangle shaped cabinet.

2. Is there any way to not have the "screen shade" colors on a rendering? I'm talking about the slow transition from black-to-gray-to white that is adjustable. That chews through the ink when printing!!!

Thanks,

For the angles cabinet, put a front inset on the end and click the Angle Part button (on the Construction Settings dialog). Have the top, deck and shelves follow the end.

John,

You will have to create the face frame as a seperate cabinet then manually rotate it and attach it to the front of your angled cabinet. Save as an assembly.

Brandon,

I think you are stuck with the gradient in the background.
I give my customers a link to drawings or a disk with drawings and let them burn their own ink.
