Hi,
I'm just researching cabinet design software and I came across eCabinet. As the old adage goes, "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is".
Is that the case here? Is this really free, or are there strings attached?
Is there a steep learning curve or can anyone learn it without spending a ton of training?
Dale

Dale,
eCabinets is indeed free. There are absolutely no strings attached. It has a fairly steep learning curve but no more than any other software with its abilities. Many of us have learned the software on our own but training classes are available as well as online training videos. There is a fee for both of these and they will be of great benefit to you but you are not required to use them to obtain the software.

I highly recommend taking one of the classes if you can. Helps a bunch and Dennis is a great Teacher and explains everything to the tee.

Thanks for your replies.
I guess I just find it hard to believe that anyone would offer something for free.
My boss is one who believes that a pencil and drawing board can do anything a computer can do - and do it better from a creative stand point. I would like to prove him at least partially wrong, but he won't spend any money on software (or training).
I might give it a try anyway.

Hi Dale,
Unfortunately, designing with paper and pencil is becoming a lost art as design software is becoming the choice in this new era. As Kerry mentioned, there are no strings attached to using this free design software and the possibilities are almost endless. Plus with using the software you have access to our production sharing members which will give you a way for other members with CNC capabilities to produce your product.
