I was uploading a file up to my server witch is owned by my domain company. The file I had uploaded was an ESJ file for a room that I had made for a friend who I am trying to give a hand to. I did a room with cabinets for him and want him to look at the file with his eCab software.
So I uploaded the file to the server and I was not able to download it. I emailed my tech support and they told me that their server does not recognize this file type and in order for me to be able to download this file from their server I would need to "provide the mime type of this file". Of course I am clueless on how to do this.
The reason I need to use my domain/server in this manner is because of the size of the file (46 MB). I cannot email this to him because I have a 16MB limit on the size of files I am allowed to send.
So.....Is there anyway you can provide to me what my technician is asking for? Thanks.

This gives me the ability to transfer large files to and fro. At least if I have a problem with a large eCab file, and the ones I have trouble with are always large, I will be able to transfer it to the guys here to take a look at.
After much head scratching and looking at the long list of extensions and their related mime classifications I came to the conclusion that an eCab file was closest to a DLL or a BIN file. More of a database than an application, but information holding as far as I could tell. So I guess I made a good guess. I only informed the server tech of what the program did for me, they figured out how to make it work. I was actually surprised that it would need to be identified that way. But I guess everything on the server needs to be classified so the server knows how to transmit the data.
I tricked it originally. I changed the extension to JPG and I was able to download it. Then I renamed it back to ESJ and it worked fine.
