They should have added 2 xx and yy planes so we could work twice as fast

If you adjust that drawing on the xx plane it’s going to mess with the drawer front drilling patterns.

I am glad it was removed from the room editor; it slowed it down way to much.

I don't know why it hasn't got a 37 degree option

What are you trying to do? I find the assembly editor a great concept.

The only thing I'd like add is the ability to anchor parts and constrain them so you can adjust the size of assemblies parametrically.

Sorry guys.
There was nothing on tele and I was bored. (I know, I need a life.)So I stepped into the Lounge. No new topics, people were bored, the forum was slow. I was curious to see how the poll system worked. (10 poll questions allowed, Wow! you could get some really good data out of that if you structured your question right.)

So I invented a topic. Its my idea of a joke. (I know, I'm old enough to know I'm not funny)
But I was trying to work out what the assembly editor would work like.

To answer your questions
There is no point. There is no button.
It is purely a fun idea.
It sounds easy just add 2inches to everything above the line.
So.
I would be certain that it has been suggested many times before and if it was easy to do, The Guys at Thermwood would have done it. They are good guys.

At the moment to me, it sounds like version 7 is going to be all about memory and speed issues. And if they have trouble with that, I don't think we will be seeing too many more new bright and shiny buttons for a little while.

Perhaps you could design your own magic button interface.
let us all know how it would work. (first, Just submit your programming code to Thermwood for approval)
