I recently upgraded my computer system to Windows 7 Professional. Since I have done this it has taken away my prior e-mail sever which was Outlook Express, which Windows 7 does not support. I have been researching other email options but have not made any choice as of yet.
I was hoping that I could get some recommendations for an e-mail server, and possibly your views of that carrier.
I would like to thank you in advance for your kind cooperation is this matter.
Thank you
George

George, you can still use your POP3 account on Thunderbird. I use that because of the no Outlook issue. I also have a G-mail account which I like even better.

George,
I have a gmail account that I use. As far as a server on my computer, I use Windows Live Mail. It is ok but I liked Outlook Express much better. Didn't Windows Live Mail come with your Windows 7? Try it, you may like it.

Re: I am looking for a new e-mail server
George,
You're looking for a e-mail client not server. Thunderbird is a good option as is just using a web based client like gmail etc.
Windows live mail is the replacement for outlook express, try that if you don't want to load your system up with lots of software.
I use Opera web browser are the moment and find it great. It has a email client built in. You might like to try it.
Try Googleing 'e-mail client' or the like and see what you come up with.
