I Need Some Wood Milling For A Project

Post by Giovanni LiCalsi »

Hello to all members. :D
I am new to the forum and hoping to contract a 5-axis mill owner to produce a wooden buck for forming aluminum body sections for a 1/4 scale 1906 Stanley Steam Car called the Flying Tea Kettle. The length of the car will be 48" length. It will be a live-steam operated car with radio control and full telemetry electronics system.
I have the DXF files of the body and chassis. I only need the two upper canoe-shaped body section bucks made.
Any estimates are very welcome. I want to get started right away.
These cars will be offered for sale if you are interested in a Stanley Flying Tea Kettle.
Thanks,
Giovanni

George,
Very nice!
The upper body section was made from a canoe and is more curved.
It is strange that no one has come forward to say that they can mill the solid plywood bucks!
Thanks,
Giovanni
