Nothing in Directories

Post by Michael Yeargain »

Hey seasoned cabinet makers

While I see many of the members still on here, It has been some time since I have posted on the forum, but I ran into an issue with the software now when loading the "splash" screen no longer appears. And now for some reason while in the Custom Layout, I have nothing in the items to choose from to design the rooms.

While in the Cabinet editor I can not even edit a cabinet. Nothing shows for me to load. I can't even place lights or anything at all. I can load a job, and take a cabinet from the job into the editor, but the directories are blank (see pic)

I haven't changed computers, although I have a new one (was waiting on Window 7 compatibility and a new office)

I have no clue what has happened. I have uninstalled/reinstalled etc.. no luck.. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The same thing happened to me a while ago. I had to go back and load my back-up copies.

Thanks Wally,

There are not any directories in the Thermwood folder either. (pic)

It seems as though there is something missing in the update. I am sure I am wrong (maybe) :D

I have tried everything, including installing old builds, but that didn't work as they have expired. I will keep playing around, maybe I will find something...

Cheers

Hi Michael, long time no see...

You probably have this resolved by now, but just in case... I had the same problem, and it turned out to be the version of Internet Explorer. I was using 6, and it ecabs needs at least version 7.

Hey Jeremy..

Yea it has been a while.. I did check on the IE, and it is v 8.0 So I will be giving this comp to my son for his "book" he is working on. And I will use the new one still sitting on the shelf new.. I installed the software on it when I got it, but I am so use to my (oldie but goodie) comp.

rat farts. lol

Thanks for the idea m8.. That wouldn't have even been in my head for a resolution with this issue here.

Cheers.

Michael,

That may be a graphics issue. Have you tried updating your graphics card drivers?
