Hi
Is it possible to attach Hardware to a Cabinet that stays with the cabinet, I mean Hardware other than Hingea, and Handles.
We are setting up our Catalogue and have Cabinets that needs other Hardware associated.
Thanks Fred

Re: Hardware Association
Fred,
You can add any hardware you have placed in Preferences/Define Hardware.
You can add the hardware items to the Cabinet buy list if you just want them listed in a bill of materials or you can use 3D models of them and add them as Hardware Objects and have them in the bill of materials and show them graphically as well.
That is what I have done with the hardware in this job.

Re: Hardware Association
Hi Kerry
If I add them to the buy list they don't save with the cabinet, were trying to use ecabs for pricing our jobs and were getting there,
I can only add Hardware like Hinges or Handles that save with the cabinet
This is for pricing not presentation
Thanks Fred

Fred,
When you open your cabinet in the Cabinet editor you must first double click the cabinet to select it then add the items to the cabinet buy list. Make sure you use the Add Items to Cabinet at the bottom of the buy list not the Add Items to Assembly button at the top of the screen.
