New Build or Patch?
I know this is a silly question but is there any hope of a new build or a patch to fix problems in the near future?
I have projects that cannot be completed without fixes. I have been holding off on cabinet libraries for 7 months in hope of some new features being implemented.
eCabinets is keeping me from fully utilizing the capabilities of the router.
Maybe it is time for a "State of the Software" address.

Yeah, I was thinking "State-a-the-beta" address but it's all the same right?

Re: New Build or Patch?
I think Jason has said he thinks there should be a new release by the end of the year. This was mentioned in the post about the new joint thats been highlighted and demonstrated. The worry is that no beta releases are out there yet. The last build is close to 12 months ago.
I am like you Kerry. The few known problems that have been documented should have been corrected a long time ago and if programming resources are stretched just these need to be addressed in a build by year end. We have work arounds but all these take time to achieve and proof check.
Could the Ecabinets team please look at this concern and make us aware of their time schedules. We'd love the new features they have on their wish list but just a fill in build would be greatly welcome.
Regards
Neville

Wayne, to "bump" a post is to bring it current again.

Re: New Build or Patch?
Wayne,
I was "bumping" this topic in hopes of getting some kind of response from eCabinets. Knowing what to expect and what, not to expect in the next build could save me many, many hours of work. Knowing if some bugs are going to be fixed would let me know if I should abandon some projects or keep working on them.
Surely there is something to report after almost a year.

Re: New Build or Patch?
Hi Guys,
Sorry for the late response. I meant to answer last week but forgot and I just got back from a show in TX. Our programmers are currently working hard on a different project (which I can't get into any details on) but it does involve eCabinets. When we do come out with a new update, it should have bug fixes and some added features that will hopefully make your designing easier. Because of this other project I do not have a good estimate as to when a new update will come out. Please be paitent as we strive to make eCabinet Systems a better software for you.
Sincerely,
Jason Susnjara

Re: New Build or Patch?
I assume that the different project is still a product of Thermwood that we'll end up using. Am I right? If that is the case may be we'll get to talk about something different than the weather and in period less than six months.Jason Susnjara wrote:Hi Guys,
