I did a profile cut on the back side of this door to create dado for glass.
It surpised me to see the flip operation because the profile cut is on the inside of the door same as the hinges ( back of door).
CN cut the profile cut first on the back of sheet, but it cut it at 90 degree to the door. it looked OK in the nest.
the front side cut normally but with a profile cut acrost the front of three doors.
why the 90 degree turn? Why the flip operation? Why is it friday already?

The issue with this cabinet is resolved in version 6 build 8 of eCabinet Systems. You will need to re-create the .twd with the new version and also ensure that you have the latest Control Nesting and Profile Modeler installed at the machine. You will still get the flip operation, but everything will be oriented/rotated correctly. (Sorry, but today profile cut paths are not considered in the flip opp calculations).

Scott, does this mean that hinge holes or operations on the back side of a door combined with a "profile" through cut will always continue to result in a flip operation?

No. Your hinge hole cuts would be on the back and cause a double sided material to force that side up unless the front had more operations on it then the back (which is unlikely or uncommon to happen). So, if the profile was also on the back, it would not have to do any flipping. Now, if the profile was on the front of the door, and the hinge cuts are on back, it would have to do a flip anyway no matter what. If Jim would have had cuts on the back of this drawer (other than the profile cut), it would have then forced it to flip the back side up and he then would NOT have a flip opp. He could add 1 or more non-through cut holes on the back and then he would not get the flip. I tested it and added a hole in the lip area just slightly deeper than the lip depth and it will then not flip.
