We will be adding some basic knock down cabinets that use lock dado joints fairly soon. We are also working to be able to offer five piece doors as well as slab doors. We are trying to sort out the fact that a majority of cabinets are face frame and that adds some additional problems. We are also working on a really great way to assemble cabinets at the job site but can’t get into much of that right now. Cabinets are clearly on the menu but we want to bring something new and valuable to the game. Over time we will add all kinds of things and see what works. Feedback from those using the system will also help point us in the right direction.

Ken: Lets suppose that a company that has already developed there on library of knock down cabinets witch is very similar to you build's cabinets would this pose a problem with being accepted into the program?

Existing designs that are similar to those offered in YouBuild are not a problem. These provisions are in the program to prevent gross misconduct, not to penalize a shop for building something similar to the products we offer. Common sense is the rule here.

As a SB-Link user I can only hope that some of the innovative features in You Build might influence future versions of E-Cabinets

This is great news. Can't wait to sink my teeth into this so to speak.

Thanks Ken
