"Following error Z axis"
Hi all, Our machine just did this again to us this morning. It just stops. It happened a month or so ago, but after shutting down then re-starting it ran fine. Anyone know the cause of this issue and what might have to be looked at? Thank you.

Re: "Following error Z axis"
Jason,
If I remember correctly when this happen to us it was a lose connection on the encoder cable.
Shut down the machine and check the encoder cable at the Z axis motor and on the servo drive in the control cabinet.
Take them off and put them back on (this helps clean the pins to make a better contact).
Hope this helps.
