Hi, I have just bought a second hand C40.
After installation, there are several problems,
First, cutting on y axis was over by 1 inch.
Then I tried to normalize all axis without c marker realigning, on
Y the encoder counts home to cmarker is 005455, home to ramp 009464.
x the encoder counts home to cmarker is 002029, home to ramp 009464.
z the encoder counts home to cmarker is 012289, home to ramp 013289.
No Cmarker Error appears. Shall I realign the cmaker for all axis or need to do some offset or adjust the trip bar?
Second, there are frequent faults on x servo, E_A608, or E_A508.
Normally power on and off the machine can sort out, but can't last long.
Any help? Thanks

Re: Used C40 setup problems
Actually, the cutting on Y axis is shifted upwards by 1 inch. not enlarged.
do I have to adjust the fixture offset? the bed dimensions are right.
it is new to me. a bid confusing.

Re: Used C40 setup problems
Thank you, Brad, I have a test on the table by mimic a cut on the same dimension sheet. Only smaller by 4mm at each axis.
And read from graphic, the cutting is shifting to x+ and y+ by 15mm. So the question is what shall I adjust for the home position. There is a home offset mentioned in manual but not specified, the cmarker offset can only be done on x, not on y for too close to the ramp. I am also thinking about actuator position offset, but it will change the position of multi spindle drill as well. Any help?
