Hi and a happy new year to all.
I have just installed ecabs onto my new Acer Aspire/R7 laptop running windows 8.
on my previous PC I fixed the ghosting in room editor by reducing my hardware acceleration.
Now on my laptop I can only enable or disable hardware acceleration.
will disableing fix the problem? if so what effect will this have when using other programs.
dues anyone have another solution to this problem.
Thanks John.

John,
It looks like the 50 or so people that viewed your post did not feel that they had the expertise to advise you on your video card issue - I myself being one. Also, these forums are not monitored by Thermwood's support people on a regular basis - their ability to visit here is dictated by their workload responding to phone calls and emails.
In the future, you may want to also forward copies of your technical ecab questions to cabinets@thermwood.com where the software support personnel will be able to respond to you in a more timely manner.

I was having the same problems, but I went into my nvidea video card driver and changed a setting in it, called gpu acceleration, and chaged that to compatability mode.
Worked like a charm!
