shipping brackets

Postby Terry Davis » Tue, Jan 14 2014, 3:08PM

We are moving our 2007 Cs45254 to a new shop across town and I don't remember where the 3 shipping brackets attach, 2 are somewhat Z shaped and 1 is L shaped with a wood block. I have the control cabinet brackets figured out and attached.

2 are used to bolt the control down to the table once you remove the spoil board you can see the threaded holes in the aluminum plate. the other is to keep the Spindle assembly in the home position

Based on the number of each:

  • The single "L" shaped is probably to hold the Y axis in place. attaches to the head assembly and the gantry leg on one side.
  • The two (2) "Z" shaped ones most-likely lock the two gantry legs to the base (one bracket each side) - this is the X axis.

If in doubt, email Thermwood - service@thermwood.com
