Nesting Error "database already exists"
Hey guys-
Just got a new system for work, went from a laptop with windows 7 home to a more powerful desktop (dell xps) with windows 8. Everything so far was running smoothly on my first new job on the system until the 2nd time I tried to nest it (I did think the nesting took longer than my laptop had, everything else was noticeably faster). Then it froze up for bit and fed me this error message. "Database already exists".
Grateful for any help.
P.S. I found several references to this error in the forums with glowing reports of a fix found in another thread, the link of which was broken

Nicolas,
Close down eCabinet Systems and then open windows explorer and navigate to the folder { C:\ProgramData\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems\doors\Conestogaz }. See if the following files exist and if so delete them. { result.mdb, thermtemp.twt, and facetemp.txt }. After deletion, launch eCabSys again and try nesting. Let me know if this resolves your issue.

I can't find any of those files at the location you specified (copied and pasted address so I know I'm there, I also turned on hidden files just in case). The only one that was even close was the facetemp but it was a ldb file ext.

Go ahead and delete that facetemp.ldb file and then launch eCabSys and try to nest. If that does not help, then do the following:
> Close down eCabinet Systems and then open Windows explorer and navigate to the folder { C:\ProgramData\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems\doors\Conestogaz }
> Delete the file { zigaba.twt }
> Then go to { C:\ProgramData\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems\ }
> Delete the files { ff.twt, and thermwood7.ref }
> Now run the eCabinet Systems install and choose the repair option
> Launch eCabSys and try to nest
Let me know your results.

Re: Nesting Error "database already exists"
If it helps:
I've tried it on jobs from my old system that I've brought over and on jobs that I just made on this new system.
I've tried it with jobs using my materials and on jobs using just stock ecabs (standard bases and uppers)
I have no idea how I got it to nest that one time. After that no matter what it always hangs up at the same spot on the green progress bar on the right it says "loading parts" and on the pop up progress bar in the middle it says "searching for duplicate parts", then it hangs up for a bit and spits out the " database ect."
Final note after it sends me that message I can't do/go anywhere on ecabs. I have to control+alt+delete it.
Thanks for the help so far.
