sudden crash

Post by Jack Mazzuchelli »

Was running latest version, suddenly wont run because a "missing" dll file; ****** hp-bridge 1942-210.vc.dll according to virus scanner. It stops re installs, attempts to repair etc. Anyone else have this problem?

Avast says C:\...\hp_bridge 1942_210_.vc.dll :?: :?:

It sounds like Avast has misidentified ecabinet systems as a virus. I set the ecabinets program directory to be exclude from the virus scan. (c:\program files (x86)\thermwood\ecabinet systems or c:\program files\thermwood\ecabinet systems). Then run a repair on ecabinet systems.

I don't have avast installed but maybe you can find this dialog in avast settings. You would put a check by the path to ecabinet systems folder.
