Is there any way to create a notch in the shelf that would hide the shelf pins like in the picture attached? I hate doing this in part editor and i suspect that there must be a better way.
thanks for your help

Re: notched shelf for hiding the shelf pins
I'd try treating it as a fixed shelf with a modified RTA pattern.

Sample file attached just to give an idea. You'd likely need to add a 'phantom' shelf to get the shelf holes in the sides of the cabinet, though you may be able to incorporate these into the modified RTA pattern as well.

Re: notched shelf for hiding the shelf pins
Hi Nat
that's very clever, thank you very much. I'll try to see if i can work with this given that the rest of my cabinet is connected using regular KD fittings.

Re: notched shelf for hiding the shelf pins
Not sure how to attach a ptn file, but I just drew a rectangle with coordinates in millimeters (0,-2.5) (11, 2.5) with a negative depth of 6. This would likely need to be adjusted, but will give the idea.
