Cabinet angled to follow angled ceiling

Post by Leo Graywacz »

How does one go about making a cabinet that would follow the angled ceiling in a room.

Is this all hand work and placing FF parts manually?

Is the angle you looking for - Front to back or One Side to the Other?

Like this. And I suppose I won't be able to get my doors to work either. :wall:

Hi Leo
The only FF part that would have to be placed manually would be the angled piece. In the image below I used a display board but it may be possible to use a stretcher (have not tried that yet). The door is a slab door with the same angle cut on it then I used the MDF_ASYM-6 tool to cut the raised panel.

If I resize the cabinet do I have to remake the door?

If you constrain the geometry for the cut as well as the profile you will not have to redraw the door. You will however have to redraw the display board.
