yesterday we had a new error come up when we tried to nest our aquaban material up. we could nest the material and add sheets etc but when we try to write cnc it comes up with the errors as shown in the pictures attached
has anyone experienced this error or know of any fixes? we looked at the tooling settings for the material but all is ok.

Chris,
Where are the source file from? eCabinet Systems, Layered DXFs, Excel List or Manual Input?
What version of Control Nesting are you running?

Hi Chris. Verify you do not have 'No Outline Cuts' checked for the group setting of that material. The next version of Control Nesting will give a more appropriate error message for this occurrence.

Re: a material nests but wont allow to write cnc
hi larry, the settings are still as they were originally, i can nest and cut our melamine material perfectly its just this material.. i have changed the name of the material that we are trying to cut and it has solved the issue. i dont understand why that has made a difference as i also added the new name for the material in the tooling setup. to me it seems like a small glitch with either the control nesting or how ecabinets is saving the twd file

Go to the Tooling dialog and look at the materials listed for each group. Find the group that has the material name giving you the problem. Now go to Settings and select that group. You will then see the settings that are applying for that material name. I'm guessing that 'No Outline Cuts' is selected and causing the issue.

hi larry, the settings are still the same.. the 'no outine cut' is not selected, even if it was selected it doesnt create an error like the ones shown

Load the offending twd in Control Nesting and create an export. Upload this export and we'll locate the issue.

sorry i didn't get back to you about this.
the error seems to have fixed itself. must have been a glitch in the system that needed a bit to refresh
