Daren,

Sorry, the ShopBot Link currently does not support Assembly Grouped doors/drawer fronts. I will get it listed and hopefully implemented in a future release.

I'm glad to hear that you're going to try and have it added in the future Scott, but how do I proceed right now? I thought I could at least cut each cabinet individually and the SBL would nest the fronts appropriately, but as you can see below, it doesn't want to place the drawer front above the doors regardless of how I nest it. Aside from creating a sheet that is just a little wider than the cabinet and then nesting onto that (which I have yet to try), does anyone have any better ideas? That could take a lot of time to cut fronts for 38 cabinets.

Daren, I've done this in the SB Link before, and it's worked as it should. Are you sure you're grouping the parts together correctly?

Daren,

I've tested the Cabinet Group Parts level and it all seems to work correctly in the link. What version of the Link are you using? Make sure you remove all parts from the Assembly Grouping and then add the doors/drawer front to a Cabinet Group Parts. If you still have trouble getting this to work, please send me your job, cabinet, or assembly and I will try to look into it for you. You can email it to cabinets@thermwood.com and put attn: Scott in the subject.
