Copy contour

Post by Shaun Just »

Hi there,

Is there an easier way to copy a complete closed contour and enlarge or decrease the size for example, I make a 55mm frame and want to do a 47mm profiled edge on the inside, at the moment I create my 55mm edge and do the pocket cut, then I create edges and copy each inside edge by 8mm and then trim them together then do the profile cut, and thought there must be a easier way of doing this in one step? Any ideas?

Hi tim,

Yeah very familiar with it, what I'm saying is it only offsets one line at a time not the whole box as such

Cheers

You can offset the cutter by 8mm to the left or right of the pocket depending on the cut direction.
