Software Problems on a Mac

Post by Robert Pettit »

Hello,

I was having problem cutting pocket holes, and thought I needed to update my ECabinet to build 6.1. Then after I did that, when ever i try to edit any cabinet or add to a batch list the program quits. I upgraded to parallels 10 and 11, neither solved they problem. Currently running Mac OS X Version 10.9.5, Paraelles 11, ECabinets 6.1.

Any help?

Thanks

Older Windows Versions

As of version 6.1, eCabinet Systems will no longer fully support 'Windows Vista', 'Windows XP', or 'Windows 7 without Service Pack 1'. However, eCabinet Systems 6.1 WILL run on these systems if the corresponding hotfix or service pack below is installed.

Please refer to the updates page for the hotfix for windows.

Thank you for your response.

I am running windowsXP but when I download the hot fix file and try to install it. It says "Setup has detected that the version of the Servie Pack installed on your system is lower than what is necessary to apply this hot fix. At minim, you must have service Pack 3 installed"

I have no idea what that means.

Next step?

Download and Install Service Pack 3, then Install the hotfix.

Run windows update and install the updates or use the stand alone install.
