Wasteboard minimum thickness

Post by Jeremy Schiffer »

Using THM 9.1.2, the flycut program, which is amazing in every other respect, is telling me the minimum thickness allowed for the wasteboard is 4.318mm. Why the limitation, and more importantly, how can I bypass it, or set it to a more reasonable value? (a wasteboard that starts off at 6mm and cannot go below 4.318mm lasts about 1 day.)

Jeremy,

If the wasteboard gets too thin it allows too much air through and affects hold down.

that being said I changed ours from the .17" to .15 and I get a little more life out of the board.

You change it in the THM.ini file
