I have a new laptop. Dell Precision 7710, i7 6820HQ @2.7Ghz (3.6Ghz boost) and I'm running a NVMe M.2 SSD which is about as fast as you can get in a hard drive. Quadro M3000M w 4GB for my video card.
When I go to fetch cabinets out of my seed directories I go to the cabinet editing area and go to the right of the screen and cabinets is already chosen. I click on change directory and it sits there sorting directories, sometimes for 30 seconds before it becomes normal speed.
On my other slower computer I never had this lag. Everything else in the program is snappy fast.
Anything that can be done?

Hmm, how are you changing directories? By hitting change, or by hitting the up button? The item windows does use Internet Explorer. Do you have any third party plugins installed that might slow it down? Does your antivirus seem to be churning when changing directories?

Re: Program lags when opening seed cabinet directories
I don't run AV. And I use Firefox as my browser. I leave IE naked because my Firefox is loaded with apps.
Only way I know how to change directories is using the change button.
