Donald,

This is beta version available for anyone. We don't have a ShopBot here to test with so the new features and fixes haven't been fully proofed yet. The code looks correct, but we don't have any way to perform test cuts.

Would it be possible to add the option 'No Drillings' similar to 'No Outline Cuts'? From time to time I've had to stop the machine mid sheet (broken bit, glitch etc), and in order to continue needed to run the entire sheet again. Where many of our parts have full line boring, and the drilling is done at the start of the sheet, it would be nice not to have to redrill the sheet when this does occur.

I am having some issues with the pocket screws and dadoes with this update. I sent the export to Clint and will update when I can re-test.

Nat,

I can never make any guarantees, but I will get it added to the wishlist.

Terry,

I'll send you another email also, but I did not receive your email with the export. I'm assuming its the same issue we were having before when your one email address would send something but the other would not.

Can you include also the cabinet you are working with in eCabinets along with the export?

I hope that several of us are testing this Beta release simultaneously. I've sent Clint some exports that I believe have bugs, and according to him it takes both effort and time to fix them and get a debugged release out to us. I don't use pocket holes a lot, but some of you may appreciate the ability to use that part of this update. One of the things I believe should be added is the ability to pocket 1/2" material as well as the 3/4", which is the only option available right now. I'm curious to know of other bugs that you've found in this Beta release, if we don't stay on it, it won't happen.

It appears that Clint isn't getting my exports and I'm not certain why. At this point it appears that there are a few bugs that need to be fixed, one I ran into this am is that it seems to ignore nesting in the x and y. I clicked y and it nested x. I don't use tabs nor pocket holes so I didn't check those. I'm switching back to the previous version, since I don't have time to keep testing this beta version, somebody else will need to step up.

Terry,

Can you post the export, cabinet, and .twd here on the forum? When you go to post a reply, just below the bar for Save Draft, Preview, and Submit there is a tab for Attachments. Select it, then select the button for Add Files. Find the file on the computer and select Open. Then submit your post and I can grab them from it.

One minor note with regards to pocket screws. You must set up your 3/8" and 5mm tools twice in the tooling dialog. The 3/8" tool should be set up for its normal operations, then once again with the Pocket Screw Rout box checked. The same goes for the 5mm tool, set up once for its regular operations, and once for the pocket screw drill operations. It was not noted in the help documentation, but will be updated for the next release.
