Constraint Manager - help needed

Post by Donald Thomson »

I am designing a pull out tray for cabinets (drawer box). I have a half moon cut (PE) in the front part of the drawer. It is set to a certain width, say 5" wide. Tray (drawer box) file is attached.

I'd like to constrain the half moon to 5" wide but have eCabs auto center it in the drawer front. Is there a way I can set CM constraints to keep this half moon PE cut centered in the part when I add the pull out tray to a cabinet? If the pull out tray ends up being 22" wide or 28" wide, I'm interested if CM can keep that half moon centered without me having to manually recenter it after the tray is added to the cabinet.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Dave!!

How do you get the formula in the constraint? That's exactly what I was looking for and couldn't figure out how to do.

No problem, Donald.

Click on the "Edit" button in Constraint Manager then "Edit Constraint". Click on the constraint you want to edit. In the textbox to the right of the blue text enter the formula h/2.
