can't get gap between doors when stacking vertically

Post by Thomas strembitsky »

if I have a pantry with fixed shelves and doors covering them I can get the doors to have a 2mm spacing between them vertically the doors ignore the edgetape and overlap no matter what I do.

Try putting your doors on before you set the fixed shelves. So long as you know what the height is you can tell it how big you want your doors. I haven't been able to do it successfully the other way round.

okay thanks ill try doing it that way, I thought my only option was going to be placing them as drawers and then manually adding hinge plate holes

I loaded the cabinet in the "develop cabinets and assemblies, erased your doors and without changing any settings, I added a left hinge door. I started at the top and worked my way down. I had no problems and have attached the cabinet as food pantry 2. I suspect that perhaps windows ten might be an issue. the computer that I used is an old Dell with 4 gigs of ram running windows seven. I normally use a windows 8 computer but thisis the computer that was not in use at the time.

I loaded your cabinet only issue is the doors are difference sizes with the top and bottom being bigger then the middle two. thanks for trying though I'm going to just add the doors first then add the fixed shelves afterwards as it gives me the most control over door size and placement.
