Post processors for Aspire

Post by Stuart Douglas »

I recently began helping a friend use his new desktop CNC which he bought with Vectric Aspire. His files post fine (CamMaster), but If I try to post to one of the Thermwood PP's it errors out on my machine. I am using a CS43 5-12. Is there a post processor specifically for this machine? The PP's on the vectric software look to be either for the CS45 or a generic .NC file. Is anyone on this forum using this software with your CS43 and which PP do you use?

It looks as though the documentation indicates that you could write your own PP for whatever machine you are trying to use, but I'm not that talented yet.

Joe,

That post for our CS43 with the QCore worked with the sample file I was trying, seems to be perfect. Thanks for the help.

Hi Stuart, I saw this post and just recently tried my hand at aspire trial using there post processor for the qcore processor and seem to be getting nowhere. Do you have that post processor info that was sent to you? I have the CS43-510 built in 2014 so I'm figuring this will work for me.

Thanks
Gordon M.
