two level floor

Post by JR Allen »

Hi folks, wondering if anyone has done a bi-level floor or if it's at all possible. I'm thinking it can only be done with a display cube in the floor material just not sure. Thanks in advance for any help.

Not exactly sure when you say a bilevel floor what you mean but could you not use a fixed shelf as a second level.

My apology , I was reading two level floor but thinking two level deck . You could use a display cube or even a cabinet but you would have to use a meterial that you could apply a modified texture to which matched the floor but did not affect other items. Create a material specifically for the purpose which is oversize so that you can make an oversized cabinet as large as a floor and if you use a cabinet then it is quick to resize and locate in the room. You would want to make sure when you create your TWD files to delete the cabinet (floor) from the list in your nest. Just another workaround if a display cube was not to your preference.
