When I add a stretcher, and I make an adjustment to set it in .25 from the back, then go into ADVANCED and do the inset to be the back of the cabinet, which of these insets will eCabs use?
Will it use the .25 I plugged in or will it use the inset equal to the back thickness?

Re: Stretcher adjustments based on a cabinet part
The "advanced" settings are to associate the inset to a part. I always try to set things up with "0" insets. So for example is I want a stretcher flush to the front of a cabinet I will go to advance settings and set inset #3 to left end/front or right end/front and click okay. Now I set inset #3 to "0" and the stretcher will always be flush with front no matter what i resize the cabinet to.
Getting slightly more advance. If I want a stretcher to always be next to the right side of a cab. I will set inset #5 in the advanced settings to right end/right. Now I set the inset for #5 to "0" and that stretcher will always be attached to the right end like a wall filler if that was my intend. If I need a 2" filler or a 10" filler it doesn't matter it is always right next to the right end. Or maybe you want it to overlap the right end then set inset #5 to -.25 and it will overlap the right end 1/4" again no matter what you may change the width of the stretcher to in the future.
Hopefully that made more sense than confusion

Re: Stretcher adjustments based on a cabinet part
Thank you for the reply Carmen.
When I set the stretcher to inset 0, then go into advanced and set inset to "Back", I get what's pictured below. It seems the inset is not taking or I'm doing something wrong. I've regenerated the cabinet and still have stretchers not inset.

Re: Stretcher adjustments based on a cabinet part
Here's a close up of what it appears to be doing to the stretcher. Even though I set the inset to be the "Front" of the "Back" in advanced settings, the stretcher seems to be getting a 0 inset value as evidenced by the attached graphic.
I must be doing something wrong, or this isn't working as expected.

Re: Stretcher adjustments based on a cabinet part
Don,
I opened your cabinet and saw each stretcher had a -.2" inset for the inset relative to the back. When you set a stretcher relative to another part, you need to readjust the inset value back to zero. If your's each show zero, try restarting your computer and eCabinets to make sure nothing is hanging on to something it shouldn't be.

Re: Stretcher adjustments based on a cabinet part
Clint,
Must be a bug in eCabs. Restarted eCabs (not computer), reset the adjustments on the stretchers and all is good now. eCabs is not redrawing or recalculating something properly when using the advanced stretcher settings.
