CNC Computer problem -- help?!
We have a 5-axis CNC router, Thermwood C70 with a SuperController 9100, and when we turn it on, we get an \"Off Mode In 5 Sec\" message in the center of the computer monitor and that's it. Windows won't start, although there is power to the rest of the machine. We've done all the troubleshooting we know to do, too much to write here, but if anyone has had this or a similar problem please reply!! We'll probably be calling tech support on Monday 1/9/06, but some advice today (Sat 1/7) would surely be appreciated!

Try to bypass the battery backup for the computer. I've had some trouble with the computer going out when the voltage dropped below about 108 volts and my battery was dead or not fully charged because I don't always have power to it. I found a new replacement battery for $11.00 on the web. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked our computer and it has no battery backup. The power supply has an a/c power cord, the other side of which gets spliced into the main power for the Thermwood, which then goes straight into the wall. Power from that cable is good, so now we know the problem lies within the powersupply/computer. Our local tech will be here soon! Thanks for the reply.
