I'll see if I can go up a font size.
Tommy Wieler wrote:Just tried it, and the cabinet numbers are all off by one for some reason. Cabinet one is marked 2, 31 is marked as 32, etc. I'll keep trying...
By chance did you have a quantity of two for the first cabinet?

No, I changed the label style halfway through a job. Haven't had a chance to try it starting from scratch with a new job yet. Right now I'm blaming it on the fact that I didn't start the job with that label style. I'll write my next nest with the new style and see how it goes.

Hmmm, let me know how it goes. The label is just getting information from the database and populating. I can't think of a reason why it would skip the first number.

Give this one a whirl, went from size 12 to size 18. If I go larger than that, if someone gets over 100 cabinets the numbers overlap the text. I can push text further over, but longer cabinet names may interfere with the edgebanding picture.

Thanks a ton Clint for working on these labels, it's making a lot of people happy. At this point, I only see one possible issue: is there enough space left on your new 30252 for barcodes? Either for Offfalls or Recut ID.

Yes there should be. That version of the 30252 label is without the barcode information, so there should be plenty of space at the bottom. I wanted to get one working fully before I broke some more.

Here is a similar label type for the DYMOs using the original LETTER+LETTER combination to designate cabinet 'number'. Replaces the SYMBOL.

Supports cabinet numbering from 'AA' to 'ZZ' (676 cabinets). Available with and without RECUT barcode.

Happy 4th!

So far so good, haven't had any issues since that first anomaly. Already gotten comments from various staff members and the shop manager that they like the new label format. Thanks Clint!

Glad to hear it is working good. I should be able to get the recut version together today.

Someone can give this recut one a go if they use the barcode scanner. I made the barcode a little taller from the standard also.

My scanner reads it fine. The actual recut ID number is right at or slightly off the bottom edge of the label. But that might be a tracking problem with my printer.

Try nesting and cutting multiple jobs simultaneously. The large cabinet numbers get messed up.

I should be able to nudge the barcode and barcode ID up a little.

What was messed up about them?
