Taking Out Hinge Holes

Post by Thom Davies »

Hows it going?

1st i love build 5! its so quick!

But i have a real problem with my corner units. Im doing a big job with 27 kitchens and each kitchen has 3 corner units in it.

My problem is i put on the 2 doors in two goes. 1 left and 1 right. as it doesnt seem to put hinges on the lasy susan doors cos u cant tell it what side u want it hinged! So then i highlight the door i want to take the hinge out of. So then i have to regen like 3 or 4 times. I cant see the hinge hole in the cabinet editor but when i send it down to the CNC I find that hinge i took out is placed randomly on the sheet OR way out side the boundry of the cnc. like a meter outside the boundry! So then i have to edit the code so it doesnt stop mid way though cutting saying " its outside its boundry"

Whats even worse today is that i got a job printing off at the mo and the hinge is in the middle of another door! so i have to try 2 work out in the code where the edit is going to have to b made!

What can i do to stop this! is there any steps i should take?

Thanks

Thom,

The Lazy Susan door doesn't place hinges. It is the door that attach's to the pie cut Susan's and is inset.
Select both opening and use the Double left hand door or Double right hand door.

This still doesn't explain the errant hinge hole on your sheets though.
