I'm running CN 5.59 b/c I hate the interface of the newer CN. Just wanted to say before everyone jumps at me about updating.
I can nest and write ro CNC small jobs, jobs w/ a few cabinets & not many parts. When I try a larger job, the one w/ problem is a closet job w/ approx 160 parts, it nests alright but when writing to CNC it goes a bit then stops and hangs up. It seems to be in limbo w/ nothing happening. I waited yesterday for an hour to see if it would finally go but nothing. I pulled out on cabinet w/ 27 parts and it worked fine. Any ideas on why it has a problem with more parts? please help I'm stuck and need to get this job out.
Thanks

Re: Write to CNC stuck! HELP!
I've seen were deleting the history.mdb file helps speed up nesting. Not sure if the file gets corrupt on occation...
Be sure to first shut down the THM software, then navigate to: C:\Rolling Nest and delete history.mdb

Ryan,
Exactly what information would be lost by deleting that file?
Thanks

This file contains the History for recutting parts. Prior to deleting the file, you can create an EXPORT, then send the EXPORT along with the HISTORY.mdb and HISTORY.sav to program@thermwood.com
This way I can submit to engineering for review, if it is this that fixes your issue.
