Searched the site but found nothing that shows how to scale the size of the "Inset light". What I actually need is a hockey puck type LED light for multiple shelf lighting around 2"-3" in diameter and maybe 1" high.
Thanks in advance

Micheal I just use the inset light and set them into my shelves, adjust the light intensity, and apply the hide function so you don't see them protruding through the top of the shelves in presentation view.As far as I'm aware you can't resize light fittings.
Would be nice to have a smaller one for shelves as you said

You can make a light from a Display Cube. Install it. Then as was suggested, install a canned style of light. Adjust the light intensity, then hide it for the Presentation View.

How can we make light source from a Display Cube?
Re: need hockey puck light or easy way to scale lighting
My previous post indicates how to make a cube or any other object appear to be a light source. There is no way to take an object and click on it and make it a light.

Thanks, now its clear. I misunderstood a bit. It would have been awesome

I probably should've said, you can make something that looks like a light or lamp. Early morning responses sound perfectly clear at the time.
