Need a little help, Would like to know how you would go about drawing the top of the upper cabinet in this picture.

I am currently using a 8" wide top rail and cutting it to match the curved area, but would like to know any other ideas

well .... , I went back in to the cabinet and now can't reproduce it, works like it should
I must have done something to the board prior that created the error.
