Custom Mouldings

Thought I would mention this again.

When we do stacked moldings, I have to draw a sample for the customer to see. It would be great if I could use this drawing to create a custom molding in eCabinets so we could see what it looks like on the cabinets.

I have created patterns from these drawings before to model a display cube for the top of each cabinet, but this is just too time consuming.

Hi Kerry.
We do it this way sometimes.
Create a material 4 or so inches thick.
Size it to the length you want.
Do the cut outs in the part editor. Either create a part using closed contour or cut pockets to leave the shape of the capping over the top cupboards.
Cabinet fronts plus molding overhang.
Apply a profile to the front edge.
If its a standard display molding you use often, draw it once and just reuse it.
