Fit clearances not machining on drawers

Post by Rob Frenette »

Hi Guys

Anyone noticing that fit clearances are not being cut at the machine.
I made a drawer in the drawer editor and set clearances to .020 fit and .030 depth and when I cut some drawers there is no depth clearance and the tenons fit really tight. The drawer material is the same as our cabinets 5/8 maple melamine and the joints fit perfect on the cabinets.
I took a drw into the cabinet batch and nested it to check and none of my clearances show up. The drawer was originily set up in V5 build 1 so we updated to build 2 and still the same thing

Hi

Just to clarify, this drawer was setup in V5.1 build 1. I have also set up a new drawer in V5.1 build 2 and the clearances do not show up when nested.

Rob,

I have tried using your drawer box along with a couple of other drawer boxes. None of the drawer boxes had the fit or depth clearances when sent to the control. I have passed this onto the programmers so they can resolve it.

Rob,

This issue is on the eCabs side, not Control Nesting. It is listed and will be resolved for a future build.

This is a real pain to work around....

When will we see a fix?

The next patch for eCabinets will not be ready for a few weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience. We greatly appreciate your patience.
